We finished our year-long series in the book of 1 Samuel this last Sunday. You can hear the sermon here.
This Sunday and next, I will preach a pair of sermons on the incarnation of Christ. After that, in January, I will begin to preach through the book of John. I’d recommend reading through it ahead of time if possible.
Something else coming up in the New Year- this next year for the weekly worship notes I intend, Lord willing, to write on the Heidelberg Catechism reading for that Sunday.
We are overyjoyed to welcome the Cox family into membership in Christ Reformed Church! Thank God for these blessings for the faithful continuation of His church.
On November 17th, we will meet at 3 PM at the College Heights Sanctuary (our normal meeting place) instead of at 10 PM. There will be no Sunday School following.
We were very grateful to God for the installation of the pastor and the first elder for Christ Reformed Church of Casper by a commission of the South Central Classis of the Reformed Church in the United States. Rev. Jon Blair, Rev. George Horner, and Rev. C.W. Powell were there, along with most of the elders and deacons from the overseeing congregation in Rock Springs, and other friends and family. Greg Hager was installed as an elder of the congregation; Greg was an elder in the RCUS for many years in Rock Springs, and we’re very grateful to have him here in Casper now.
Audio recordings of Rev. C.W. Powell’s and Rev. George Horner’s excellent sermons can be found on the church’s SermonAudio page.
